My easy buffalo chicken wraps recipe can be made in minutes. Buffalo chicken is paired with crunchy vegetables and creamy ranch to make the perfect quick lunch or dinner.
Anything involving buffalo chicken is always a huge hit in my house like chicken wings, tenders, buffalo chicken pasta, buffalo chicken salad, and one of my all-time favorites, buffalo chicken wraps.
These wraps came together when I had leftover rotisserie chicken that I didn’t want to go to waste. I ended up tossing the chicken in buffalo sauce and then loaded it up with crunchy veggies and my favorite ranch. My husband liked them so much he even requested that I made them for his work lunch.
One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it’s super easy to customize. A great way to use up leftover chicken and vegetables you have in your refrigerator.
Why you’ll love this recipe
- Fast: This is a quick meal that can be made in less than 10 minutes.
- Flavor: A wrap recipe that is an explosion of flavor and texture.
- Great lunch: These wraps pack well for a cold lunch and make great leftovers.
- Easy to customize: This recipe is super easy to customize with your favorite toppings and dressing.

Ingredients
- Chicken – I like to use shredded or chopped cooked chicken. It’s a great recipe to use rotisserie chicken.
- Buffalo sauce – Use this easy homemade buffalo sauce recipe or your favorite bottled sauce.
- Lettuce – This adds a nice, cool crunch.
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing – You can use your favorite ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing. I also like using buffalo ranch for an extra kick.
- Cheese – Shredded cheddar or colby jack cheese works well. You could also use crumbled blue cheese.
- Tortillas – I like to use the burrito size tortillas because they are easier to roll up and fold.

- Chicken: Place the cooked chicken in a bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the chicken and toss to completely coat the chicken.
- Tortilla: Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
- Assemble: Lay the tortilla on a plate or cutting board. Place half of the chicken down the middle of the tortilla. Top with lettuce, cheese, carrots, and dressing.
- Wrap: Fold in the ends of the tortilla and then roll up to make a wrap.
Heather’s tips and variations
- Warm up tortillas. I recommend warming up the tortillas on the stove, microwave, or oven. You don’t want them to be too hot, just warm enough to make them pliable. This makes them easier to fold and wrap.
- Chicken. If you don’t like shredded chicken, simply cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces, cook, and toss in the sauce. I have also made this with cooked ground chicken.
- Tortillas. Try changing up the tortilla with a spinach wrap or make it low-carb by wrapping in a large piece of lettuce.
- Fried chicken. You can make this a fried buffalo chicken wrap by using breaded chicken tenders.
Buffalo chicken wrap topping ideas
This recipe is easy to make your own by adding your favorite toppings. Here are a few of my favorites:
- Diced tomatoes
- Diced cucumbers
- Diced bell pepper
- Celery
- Pickles
- Avocado
- Slaw
Storing
Store: Wrap leftovers up in plastic wrap or place in an air tight container and store in the refrigerator.
If I am going to eat them the next day, I will leave the ranch out of the wrap and use it as a dipping sauce. They will last about 2 days in the refrigerator.
How to serve
These buffalo chicken wraps are great on their own but also pair well with many things.
Some of our favorite side dishes include sweet potato fries, onion rings, corn on the cob, or chips.
