How to make this chicken stuffing bake recipe
Step one: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Step two: Place diced chicken in the casserole dish. Try to spread out in a single layer as much as possible.
Step three: Mix together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Pour soup mixture over the chicken.
Step four: Heat the chicken broth in the microwave or on the stove. Stir the warm broth with the stuffing mix and then spread over cream of chicken soup.
Step five: Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Carefully uncover and bake another 10-15 minutes. Make sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Storage

You could replace with greek yogurt.

This sounds delicious. I am wondering could this be frozen uncooked and then when ready either thaw or bake from frozen?
I have not tried it frozen uncooked. I have cooked it and then frozen and it was good after reheating. I think it would work. You might just need to add a splash of broth on it before baking to help keep it moist.
This was the most amazing dish! Delicious! And I admit, I was not expecting it to taste so good. Boy, was I wrong! My husband wants the leftovers for dinner tonight!

You could make it the night before, cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve the next day. Just reheat in the oven.

A terrific recipe, but I gave it only 4 stars b/c I changed it up a bit to suit my family’s palates & needs. I used leftover chicken breasts (which I diced) & used Low Sodium Cream Of Mushroom Soup. I also used Lite Sour Cream, Lite Broth, & Low Sodium Stuffing Mix. We love Broccoli, so I added several fine-sized florets. I served this wonderful & healthy Casserole with a huge Tossed Salad. Everyone here enjoyed the meal, even the kiddoes – who love veggies. Thanks for your delicious recipes.
