I use my air fryer almost everyday for a variety of things. I love how easy they are to use, how quick they cook food and how simple it is to clean.
You’ll love Air Fryer Frozen Biscuits
Making breakfast using the air fryer couldn’t be easier. There are many different things you can make like bagels, cinnamon rolls, waffles, hash browns and even eggs.
Frozen biscuits are another tasty breakfast choice to cook in the air fryer. No need to preheat, these can be made in about 15 minutes.
How to make Biscuits in the Air Fryer
Choose your favorite biscuit brand like Pillsbury Grands and some oil spray to help prevent sticking.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Do not use an aerosol spray like Pam, because it could cause the coating of the basket to start chipping. I like using an oil mister with olive oil. (You could also use parchment paper if you don’t want to use oil.)
- Remove biscuits from packaging and place them in the air fryer basket. I can fit about 6 biscuits in my 5.8 quart basket.
- Cook at 320 degrees F for 8 minutes. Flip the biscuits over and cook another 5-7 minutes at 320 degrees F. They will be golden brown in color.
- Remove from basket and serve warm.
How long to cook biscuits in air fryer
Frozen biscuits need to be cooked for approximately 15 minutes in the air fryer. Thawed biscuits will cook faster, around 10 minutes.
Tips
- The key with cooking frozen biscuits is cooking them at a lower temperature. You want to do this so that they heat all the way through but don’t burn.
- Don’t overlap or stack the biscuits when cooking. You want to make sure the hot air is able to circulate around them for even cooking.
- We used Pillsbury Grands but any frozen biscuit brand can be cooked using the same method.
- Each air fryer model cooks slightly different. I recommend checking the biscuits after a total of 10 minutes cook time to see if they are done or need extra time. Cooking time can vary depending on the air fryer.
How to reheat Biscuits in the Air Fryer
Have leftover biscuits? You can easily reheat biscuits in the air fryer by cooking at 350 degrees for 2-3 minutes.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container or bag in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
How to serve
Biscuits on their own are amazing but here are a few suggestions to take them up a notch.
Sandwich: Use to make sausage or egg sandwich.
Gravy: Split them in half and cover with easy breakfast gravy.
Spread: Spread on your favorite jelly, butter or cinnamon butter.
Toaster Oven Style Air Fryer Biscuits
Biscuits can also be cooked in an oven style machine. Place the frozen biscuits on the middle rack. This will help to ensure that they cook evenly. Cook at 320 degrees for about 12 minutes, making sure to flip half way through. Check to see if they are done and add additional time if necessary.
