Holiday Bundt Cake is a fun and easy dessert to make for Christmas. Layers of red, green and white cake topped with icing and festive sprinkles.
My kids love helping me make this holiday bundt cake during Christmas along with this holiday jello poke cake. It’s perfect for a holiday get together or even leave a piece for Santa. 🙂
HOW TO MAKE BUNDT CAKE
- This is an easy, semi-homemade cake that starts with a white cake mix.
- Using an electric mixer, mix together cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, sour cream and water until combined.
- Separate batter equally into three separate bowls. Add 3-4 drops green food coloring to one bowl and 3-4 drops red food coloring to another bowl. Stir each bowl to make red batter and green batter.
- Grease a bundt cake pan with non-stick cooking spray or coat with shortening. Start by adding green batter to pan then layer with red batter and then white batter.
- Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 50 minutes.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes. Turn the cake out on a cake plate and let cool.
- In a bowl, stir together milk and powdered sugar to make icing. Drizzle on top of cake and the add sprinkles.
HINTS FOR MAKING HOLIDAY BUNDT CAKE
- Change up the colors to make a fun birthday cake or for another holiday.
- Make sure to coat the pan well to prevent bundt cake from sticking.
- For thicker icing, reduce the milk.
