  • Chicken – Use frozen chicken tenders, chicken strips, or even frozen chicken nuggets.

  • Honey – Sweet honey compliments the salty fried chicken.

How to make honey butter chicken biscuits

Step one: Bake biscuits and the chicken according to package directions.

Step two: While the chicken and biscuits are cooking, make the honey butter by placing the butter and honey in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals in the microwave until the butter is melted. Stir in a little hot sauce with the melted butter. Set aside until ready to assemble the biscuits.

  • Sweetness: Try substituting the honey with maple syrup.
  • You could substitute with this easy cinnamon butter recipe.
  • Chicken: Try making with grilled chicken or baked chicken tenders. Chicken patties also work well. This recipe is even great with a slice of pork tenderloin.

Tips for success

  • Honey: If you prefer more of a spread, you can slightly soften, (not melt), the butter and whip in the honey. Spread the whipped butter on each biscuit for serving.
  • Serve: These honey biscuits can be a little messy. Try serving with a toothpick to hold them together and don’t forget a napkin!
  • Store: If you have leftovers, store the biscuits and chicken separately from the extra honey butter. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Reheat the chicken and biscuits in the oven. Reheat the butter in the microwave.

I hope you enjoy this heartwarming chicken and biscuits recipe as much as I do.
