Ingredients 

  • 2 slices bacon chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 14.5 ounces canned navy beans drained
  • 1/2 cup water or chicken/vegetable broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

Instructions 

  • Cook chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until bacon starts to crisp.
  • Add in diced onion, beans, water, garlic powder, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook until mixture starts to lightly bubble, 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve warm.
