These ham and cheese pinwheels are the perfect little bite. Pinwheels, like these roast beef roll-ups, are great for any occasion, especially a summer gathering. This pimiento cheese and ham version is a new twist on a classic ham and cheese sandwich. The creamy Price*s pimiento cheese is layered with thinly sliced honey ham and rolled up in a tortilla.
What is pimiento cheese?
Pimiento cheese is considered a Southern classic. It’s a spread usually served with vegetables, crackers even as a sandwich.
Price*s Original Pimiento cheese is a classic made with Cheddar cheese, pimiento and salad dressing. They also offer a lite version, zesty jalapeno and Southern Style.
Price*s was started by a husband and wife who perfected their pimiento cheese spread in the 1950’s. Now their family recipe is a world-renowned brand that represents tradition and quality.
These roll-ups are easy as 1-2-3 to assemble. Simply spread the cheese over a tortilla. I used a spinach tortilla for some added color but a plain flour one would also be delicious. Top it off with 2-3 slices of ham and then roll tight.
I like to wrap up the roll in plastic wrap and then keep in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. this helps the cheese and ham stay together when you make your slices. My other suggestion is to use a serrated knife when slicing.
Price*s is currently offering a chance to win a YEAR’s supply of Price’s by sharing your traditions. That’s right, 1 YEAR!! So be sure to head over to your local grocery store and try this tasty pimiento cheese for yourself.
