Blackened ranch ingredients
It’s easy to make your favorite restaurant sauces at home with just a few simple ingredients. Simply stir to combine, chill, and enjoy.
- Mayonnaise – For the best flavor, use regular, full fat mayonnaise. I would not recommend using Miracle Whip because it has a slightly different flavor.
- Sour Cream – Sour cream adds a little tang to the sauce.
- Buttermilk – Buttermilk adds flavor and helps to thin out the sauce. If you don’t have buttermilk you can make your own by stirring together 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 tablespoon of white vinegar.
- Dried Parsley – Part of the ranch seasoning.
- Dried Dill Weed – Used for the ranch flavoring.
- Blackened Seasoning – You can typically find blackened seasoning in the spice aisle at the grocery store. You can also use homemade blackened seasoning. It gives this delicious sauce it’s spicy flavor.
- Salt and ground black pepper – Salt and pepper to taste.
