My copycat Red Robin seasoning is just what you need when you are craving restaurant flavors at home. After testing several variations, I think I have captured a pretty spot on version of this tasty spice blend.

We try to go out to dinner as a family a few times a month. One of my kids favorite places to go is Red Robin because they love their seasoned steak fries. They can’t get enough of the seasoned fries and they especially love to dip them in the Red Robin Campfire sauce.
Red Robin seasoning is a fun, family friendly restaurant that specializes in burgers, sandwiches, and of course seasoned steak fries. The seasoning that they use is full of amazing flavor, salty, smokey, with a hint of sweet.
I decided to make my own version of the french fry seasoning with spices I had in my cabinet. After some trial and error, I sprinkled them on some air fryer steak fries and served them to the kids. They couldn’t believe how similar they tasted to the restaurant.

What ingredients are in Red Robin seasoning
There is a good chance you already have these spices in your kitchen.
- Salt – I recommend using a sea salt or kosher salt.
- Paprika – Adds a light, sweet, smokey flavor.
- Sugar – This adds a tough of sweetness that perfectly balances the salt.
- Garlic powder – I like using the powdered garlic but you can substitute with granulated garlic.
- Onion powder – Onion powder works best but it can be substituted with granulated onion.
- Celery salt – To me celery salt is kind of a secret ingredient. It will have your guests wondering what makes the seasoning taste so good.
- Cumin – Adds a little warmth and smokiness.
- Basil – Adds a little earthy flavor.
- Chili powder – Gives the seasoning mix a hint of smokiness.
- Ground black pepper – Add a little heat to the mix.

- Mix: Place the spices and sugar into a bowl. Stir together to make sure they are completely combined and dispersed.
- Season: Store the seasoning or use it to sprinkle on your fries, chicken, burgers, baked potatoes, and more.
