I know a recipe is a winner when my pickiest kid asks me to make it. The first time we tried this strawberry dip was at a family friend’s birthday party. As soon as we got home my daughter asked me to make the dip for dessert that night. Needless to say, she loved it!

Now, I like to make this dip when I need a quick treat. I mean with two ingredients, it’s hard to beat. Light, creamy, and packed with strawberry flavor, this is perfect to indulge your sweet tooth or to bring to a last minute gathering.

Some of my other favorite fruit dips include this cream cheese fruit dip, toffee apple dip, and pineapple dip.

Heather’s recipe tips

Because this recipe is so simple there aren’t too many tips needed. My biggest recommendation would be to let the strawberry cream cheese soften at room temperature for a few minutes before mixing.

Strawberry dip variations

There are a few ways you can change up this dip. Here are a few of my favorite suggestions:

  • Whipped topping. If you want an even creamier dip, add in 8 ounces of thawed Cool Whip.
  • Mix in berries. For even more strawberry flavor, stir in chopped fresh strawberries.
  • Strawberry yogurt. Replace the strawberry cream cheese with strawberry yogurt.
  • Strawberry protein dip. Add some extra protein by whipping in a scoop of vanilla protein powder.

What to serve with strawberry pretzel dip

This dip will pair well with many different types of fruit, chips, crackers, and cookies. Here are a few of my favorite dippers:

Fruit: Strawberries, apples, cantaloupe, pears, pineapple, blueberries, raspberries, and more.

Chips and crackers: Pretzels, potato chips, graham crackers, butter crackers, wheat crackers, Triscuits, and more.

Storage

Cover and store the strawberry fruit dip in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. I like to set the dip out at room temperature a few minutes before serving to help soften and make it easier to dip.
