Ingredients needed for green beans with bacon
Canned green beans are the key to this dish tasting like the steakhouse beans.
- Green beans – I recommend using canned green beans for the true Texas Roadhouse experience.
- Bacon – I like using center cut bacon but feel free to use your favorite bacon, even turkey bacon will work.
- Onion – Diced yellow onion or Sweet Vidalia onion.
- Garlic – Use two cloves of minced garlic.
- Chicken Broth – Chicken broth is used to help cook the beans.
- Sugar – Granulated sugar adds a nice balance to the salty bacon.
- Montreal Seasoning – Steakhouse seasoning is the secret ingredient to these amazing beans. It really highlights the bacon flavor.

You can use either but I like using the steak seasoning. Hope you enjoy!
