Sauce
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- salt
- ground black pepper
Pasta
- 1 lb pasta fettuccine or spaghetti
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- optional parsley for garnish
Cook the pasta according to directions and drain once finished cooking.
While pasta is cooking, add butter to large saucepan or skillet and heat over medium.
Once butter has melted, stir in garlic. Keep stirring to prevent it from burning for about 30 seconds. Turn off heat and stir in salt and pepper.
Pour over cooked pasta or desired food like steak or fish.
If making pasta, sprinkle on Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for garnish.
This sauce can be made and used for a variety of meal or as a dipping sauce.
Store: This sauce and pasta can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Reheat: Since it is made out of butter is will solidify, just add back into a small saucepan to reheat. It can also be warmed in the microwave.
Freeze: This sauce does not freeze well. It's very quick and easy to make so I would recommend making it fresh.
