2-ingredient lemon bars are a super simple, delicious dessert. Made with angel food cake and lemon pie filling, this dessert comes together in about 30 minutes.

- 1 16-ounce box angel food cake
- 1 21-ounce can lemon pie filling
- ¼ cup powdered sugar optional
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with parchment paper. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, stir together angel food cake mix and lemon pie filling until fully combined. Be sure not to over mix.
Spread the batter in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Let the bars cool. Gently lift out of the baking dish. Optional, dust the top with powdered sugar. Cut into squares.
- No water needed. Don't add water to the batter. It's just the cake mix and lemon filling.
- Don't overmix. It's important to gently fold the ingredients together. I like to use a spatula. Too much mixing can deflate the batter.
