Banana Brownies
These delicious banana brownies are similar to blondies with a hint of banana flavor. Topped with an easy vanilla frosting.

Ingredients

unsalted butter, melted

light brown sugar

ripe banana, mashed
Frosting

unsalted butter, melted
1/4
cup
heavy cream
1
teaspoon
vanilla

powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8 x 8 baking dish with either foil or parchment paper. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Mix together butter and brown sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla extract. Mix in mashed banana.
Stir in flour, salt, and mix until well combined.
Spread the batter in prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before removing from baking dish.
Frosting
Beat butter and cream with electric mixer until smooth. Mix in vanilla and powdered sugar and beat until frosting forms.
Spread the frosting over cooled banana brownies.

**If the frosting is too thin, add extra powdered sugar. If too thick add a splash of cream.
