Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon, divided
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Place the sugar, oil and melted chocolate into a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with a mixer until combined. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.
  • Slowly add the in flour mixture to the chocolate batter and beat until combined.
  • Cover the cookie dough mixture and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat and set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll into powdered sugar mixture.
  • Place the cookie dough 2-inches apart on baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cookies cool on wire racks.
