Servings: 4
- 6 cups broccoli florets
- 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled or 1/4 cup bacon bits
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Cut your broccoli florets into small, bite-sized pieces. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and crumble the bacon. ***You can substitute with bacon bits.
Make the dressing by combining mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Whisk it until the dressing combines.
Place the broccoli florets in a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the broccoli and toss. Add in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese. Toss again to make sure everything is coated with dressing.
- Make sure to cut the broccoli into small pieces. It helps the broccoli get coated in dressing and makes it easier to eat.
- I recommend shredding your own cheese. It has so much more flavor than the prepackaged shredded cheese.
- I think this salad is best if it's refrigerated for at least one hour. This helps the flavors come together and get into the broccoli.
