- ½ cup apricot preserves
- ¼ cup peach preserves
- 1 ½ tablespoons white vinegar
- ½ tablespoon soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon ground mustard
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons corn starch
- 2 teaspoons water
Place the apricot preserves, peach preserves, vinegar, soy sauce, ground mustard, and garlic powder in a food processor. Blend to smooth.
Pour the mixture in a sauce pan and add the corn syrup. Stir, heat and simmer for 5 minutes over medium-low heat.
Whisk together the cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
Pour the mixture into the sauce while whisking. Keep stirring until the mixture begins to thicken, about 3 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Let the sauce cool.
