Crack Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1 oz package ranch seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 green onions, diced
  • 1/8 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits or 6 pieces cooked chopped bacon

Instructions

  • Using an electric mixer, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning and seasoned salt.
  • Stir in green onions, bacon, and cheese.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Make sure to let the cream cheese soften before mixing. I usually set it out on the counter 30 minutes before making.
  • I love using cooked, crumbled bacon or even turkey bacon. Bacon bits will also work if you are in a hurry.
  • If this dip has been refrigerated, you might consider setting it out 20-30 minutes before serving so the cream cheese softens, making it easier to dip.
  • The recipe can easily be doubled for a large crowd.
