- 4 croissants, cut in half
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 ½ cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter
If you need to keep the french toast warm while cooking all of the pieces, preheat the oven to 200 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil.
Slice the croissants in half.
Place the eggs, half and half, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
Place one tablespoon of butter in a large skillet or on a griddle on medium heat.
Dip the slices of croissant in the egg mixture. Make sure to let any extra mixture drip off. Place on the skillet.
Cook on one side for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Flip over and cook another 4-5 minutes.
Serve immediately or place on the prepared baking pan and keep in the oven until ready to serve.
Continue until all of the croissants have been cooked.
