Ingredients

  • 4 croissants, cut in half
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • If you need to keep the french toast warm while cooking all of the pieces, preheat the oven to 200 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Slice the croissants in half.
  • Place the eggs, half and half, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
  • Place one tablespoon of butter in a large skillet or on a griddle on medium heat.
  • Dip the slices of croissant in the egg mixture. Make sure to let any extra mixture drip off. Place on the skillet.
  • Cook on one side for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Flip over and cook another 4-5 minutes.
  • Serve immediately or place on the prepared baking pan and keep in the oven until ready to serve.
  • Continue until all of the croissants have been cooked.
