Easy Croffle Recipe

Equipment

  • 1 waffle maker

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounce refrigerated canned crescent rolls
  • ½ granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the waffle maker.
  • Remove the crescent rolls from the can. Unroll the dough and then cut into triangles.
  • Roll each piece of dough into a crescent.
  • Combine the cinnamon and sugar on a plate. Roll each crescent roll in the mixture to completely coat.
  • Brush butter (or non-stick cooking spray) on the heated waffle iron. Place a crescent roll on the iron. Close and cook about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Carefully remove and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Preheat. Don't forget to preheat your waffle maker.
  • Grease the waffle maker. I like brushing the waffle iron with melted butter for extra flavor. You can substitute with vegetable oil or cooking spray.
