Servings: 8 croffles
- 1 8 ounce refrigerated canned crescent rolls
- ½ granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Preheat the waffle maker.
Remove the crescent rolls from the can. Unroll the dough and then cut into triangles.
Roll each piece of dough into a crescent.
Combine the cinnamon and sugar on a plate. Roll each crescent roll in the mixture to completely coat.
Brush butter (or non-stick cooking spray) on the heated waffle iron. Place a crescent roll on the iron. Close and cook about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Carefully remove and add your favorite toppings.
- Preheat. Don't forget to preheat your waffle maker.
- Grease the waffle maker. I like brushing the waffle iron with melted butter for extra flavor. You can substitute with vegetable oil or cooking spray.
