French Onion Dip
Creamy, delicious french onion dip.

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 onions
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/8 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
Place butter in skillet over medium heat. Add diced onions. Saute for approximately 3-4 minutes.
Turn heat to low and let onions cook for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Make sure to stir every 4-5 minutes so they don't stick to pan.
Once cooked, remove from heat and let onions cool.
In a large bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir in onions and parsley. Serve or refrigerate.
