Green Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 green onions, diced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Beat the softened cream cheese and sour cream with a mixer until creamy.
  • Mix in the lemon juice, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in the parsley and green onions until fully combined.
  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve cold.

Notes

  • Soften the cream cheese. This is an important step not to skip. Set the cream cheese out at room temperature about 30 minutes before mixing. This helps eliminate any lumps and makes it creamy.
  • Dice the green onion small. Slicing it small helps it to be easier to scoop and eat.
  • Let it chill. I recommend letting the dip chill in the refrigerator at least an hour before serving. This allows the flavors to come together.
