- 1 8 ounce cream cheese softened
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can Rotel
- 2 envelopes taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese optional
- 1 cup shredded lettuce optional
- sliced black olives
- diced tomatoes
- diced green onions
Using an electric mixer, mix together softened cream cheese, sour cream, and one envelope of taco seasoning. Spread into a 9 x 9 baking dish and then store in the refrigerator while cooking the meat.
Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until meat has browned and cook through.
Drain off excess grease.
Stir in the other envelope of taco seasoning and the can of Rotel. Stir to combine.
Layer the beef over the cream cheese mixture. Add your favorite taco toppings over the ground beef layer and serve with tortilla chips.
