- 2 slices bacon chopped
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 14.5 ounces canned navy beans drained
- 1/2 cup water or chicken/vegetable broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
Cook chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until bacon starts to crisp.
Add in diced onion, beans, water, garlic powder, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook until mixture starts to lightly bubble, 3-5 minutes.
Serve warm.
