New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp

Ingredients

teaspoons
creole seasoning

pound
shrimp
peeled and deveined
2
tablespoons
butter
2
cloves
chopped garlic

hot sauce
1/2
cup
beer
1/4
cup
Worcestershire sauce
2
tablespoons
lemon juice
2
teaspoons
creole seasoning
2
tablespoons
butter
cut into small pieces
salt and pepper
crusty bread
chopped parsley and lemon for garnish
Instructions
Place shrimp in a small bowl and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of creole seasoning. Mix until all shrimp covered with seasoning.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, beer, lemon juice, and creole seasoning.
Bring to a simmer and cook 6-7 minutes or until sauce is reduced to about half.
Add shrimp and cook about 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until it melts. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve with bread.
Notes
I used Crystal hot sauce for this recipe but use what you prefer.
