- 2 21 ounce cans peach pie filling
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, sliced
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Pour two cans of peach pie filling in the dish and spread into an even layer.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the peaches. Sprinkle the cake mix on top of the peaches. Spread out into an even layer.
Sprinkle the brown sugar over the cake mix. Top with slices of butter. Make sure to try and cover most of the top with butter slices.
Bake for approximately 35-40 minutes or until top layer is golden brown.
- Be sure to spread the peaches in an even layer in the baking dish. Tip: If you are serving to younger kids, try cutting the peaches into smaller pieces before adding to the cake mix. This makes it a little easier to eat.
- Make sure to slice the butter thin to cover the entire cobbler. You want to make sure you cover as much as you can so there are no dry spots.
- If you like a little extra spice, use a butter pecan cake mix instead of yellow cake mix.
