- 1 cup tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 jalapeno, diced small
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
- salt
- ground black pepper
- This is supposed to be a "fresh" salsa but if you are in a real hurry you can drain a can of petite diced tomatoes. I like using grape or cherry tomatoes for this recipe.
- If you don't like heat or spice, omit the jalapeno. If you like heat, add a whole jalapeno instead of half.
