Easy pizza sandwiches can be made in minutes with your favorite toppings. Load up sub rolls with sauce cheese and toppings for a delicious pizza sub.

Ingredients

  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (about 1/4 cup per sub)
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • 1 small bell pepper sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup red onion sliced thin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Open the sub rolls and place them on the lined baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce on each half of the roll. Top each half with shredded cheese.
  • Add toppings, pepperoni, peppers, and onion on one side of each sub roll. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 4-5 minutes or until cheese melts. Place the top half of sub roll on the bottom roll to make a sandwich.
