- 1 rutabaga
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
Clean, peel, and dice rutabaga into cubes.
Place the cubed rutabaga into a saucepan. Cover with cold water.
Bring the water to a boil and boil the rutabaga for about 20 minutes or until fork tender.
