This sloppy joe casserole is always a winner! Made with sloppy joe meat topped with cheese and tater tots. Sloppy joe tater tot casserole is great for a busy weeknight and makes delicious leftovers.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 15 ounces sloppy joe sauce canned or homemade sauce
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 16 ounces crispy crowns or tater tots
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Make sure to break up the meat. Once cooked, drain off any excess grease.
Stir diced onion and diced pepper into the beef and cook another 3-4 minutes. Stir in the sloppy joe sauce.
Pour the beef mixture into the prepared casserole dish. Spread out in an even layer.
Top with shredded cheese and then arrange the Crispy Crowns in a single layer over the cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the Crispy Crowns are cooked and crispy.
