- 1 tea bag Teavana Jade Citrus Mint
- 1 tea bag Teavana Peach Tranquility
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup lemonade
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 drop peppermint extract or syrup optional
Combine water and lemonade either in a heat safe mug or in a small saucepan.
Either microwave for 2 minutes or warm over medium heat on the stove for 2-3 minutes.
Add jade citrus mint tea bag and peach tranquility tea bag to hot lemonade mixture.
Let steep for 2-3 minutes.
Carefully remove tea bags. Stir in honey. Optional, stir in a drop of peppermint.
Serve warm.
- You don't need to bring the water and lemonade to a boil. Starbucks uses steamed lemonade so heating for 2-3 minutes should get you to the steaming point.
- If you would like your tea a little stronger, let steep for 5 minutes.
- For a little extra vitamin C, add fresh lemon slices to the tea.
- If you would like to add a little peppermint, be sure to only use a drop. Peppermint is strong in flavor and you don't want it to overpower the tea.
