Strawberry Spinach Salad
This easy strawberry spinach salad with goat cheese is sweet, savory, and tangy. Delicious and simple strawberry salad with a homemade balsamic vinegar dressing.

Ingredients

cups
spinach
1
pint
strawberries
washed and diced
4
oz
of crumbled goat cheese
½
cup
chopped pecans or walnuts
¼
cup
balsamic vinegar

tablespoon
Dijon mustard
1
garlic clove
minced
½
cup
extra virgin olive oil
⅛
teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
ground black pepper
Instructions
If you would like to toast your nuts, place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes.
Mix together spinach, strawberries, goat cheese, and nuts.
To make the dressing, combine vinegar, oil, garlic, mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl or jar.
Whisk or shake the jar to combine the dressing.
Drizzle the dressing over the salad to coat. Toss the salad and serve.
Notes
Candied walnuts are also great on this salad.
